Experience

As the Office Managing Partner of Tampa and an Assurance and Advisory Partner at Frazier & Deeter, Jerry Johnson brings more than 20 years of public accounting experience serving clients in the Tampa Bay area. His effective problem solving, leadership, communication skills and technical background strengthen his ability to properly plan, perform and review client engagements.

Jerry has worked with a number of publicly traded companies, reviewing SEC filings, testing of internal controls over financial reporting and auditing merger and acquisition transactions, as well as performing, reviewing, and supervising audits and other attestation engagements. He has also assisted privately held companies prepare for initial public offerings.

Jerry serves as the leader of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Group for the Tampa Market. His industry expertise includes manufacturing & distribution, food & beverage and health care providers.
