Have you ever wanted to really make a difference?

Many years ago two CPAs grew frustrated. They wanted to spend more time with their clients than a traditional CPA firm would allow. Traditional CPA business models are based on the premise that partners spend relatively little time with their existing clients and instead focus on winning new clients. Meanwhile, a new crew of associates serves the client every year. Ultimately the client pays the price, but that’s the way CPA firms “have always done it.”

Breaking the traditional CPA firm model

So Jim Frazier & David Deeter started a firm where they could do things differently. Things like partners spending more time with their clients and with the firm’s associates. Like returning phone calls quickly and supporting the community, even if it means less hours billed.

Attracting great people

And they hired people who were curious and shared their desire to break out of the CPA firm traditional model. And it worked. People came from the largest accounting firms in the world, the PCAOB and great colleges. And they continue to do so today, nearly 40 years later.

The firm that they founded cultivates a growth mindset and instills in our people the belief that we must be adaptive and entrepreneurial and we make a difference for our clients and each other.
