Frazier & Deeter Grows Charlotte Assurance Practice with Addition of Jeremy Jacobs

New partner strengthens Frazier & Deeter’s growing Charlotte presence and continued investment in the region.
CHARLOTTE, NC: Frazier & Deeter (FD) continues to build momentum in the Southeast with the addition of Jeremy Jacobs, CPA, as Partner*. Jacobs’ arrival marks an important milestone in the continued growth of the firm’s national Assurance Practice and further strengthens FD’s presence in North Carolina.
Following FD’s investment in Charlotte through the acquisition of Pesta Finnie in November 2025, the addition of Jacobs establishes a dedicated Assurance presence in one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing markets. His arrival expands the firm’s ability to serve clients throughout the region while continuing to grow the depth and reach of FD’s Assurance Practice nationwide.
“Jeremy’s experience and leadership will be an asset to both our Charlotte team and our broader Assurance Practice,” said Sean Lager, Head of Assurance at FD. “As we continue to expand, adding talented leaders in key markets is critical to our ability to serve clients locally while bringing the resources and capabilities of a national practice to every engagement.”
Jacobs brings more than a decade of experience serving closely held and middle-market businesses across the manufacturing and distribution, technology, hospitality and automotive industries. Throughout his career, he has led audit, review and advisory engagements, helping clients navigate complex business challenges while focused on their long-term success.
“Frazier & Deeter has built an impressive reputation for delivering exceptional client service while continuing to invest in its people and growth,” said Jacobs. “I’m excited to join the firm at such an important time and help build on the momentum in Charlotte. I look forward to working with our clients and teams across the region.”
Beyond his professional experience, Jacobs is actively engaged in the Charlotte-area community. He serves as a board member and treasurer for Rowan Partners for Education and as a board and finance committee member for NC MedAssist. Jacobs is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Jacobs holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
