Neil Winter brings his clients more than 35 years of experience spanning both corporate and public accounting roles. As an Audit Partner with Frazier & Deeter, he serves public companies as the lead and quality review partner on their engagements.

Neil has extensive experience as an auditor of publicly traded companies of varying sizes across industries. Throughout his career, Neil has specialized in providing audited financial statements and additional financial information the SEC required for filing periodic reports, registration statements and annual reports. He served as the leader of the SEC compliance and reporting practices for leading CPA firms in Denver, Colorado and Tampa, Florida.

In addition to his many years in public accounting, Neil has served as controller of a public company in Denver, Colorado and later as the CFO and director of a public distribution company in Sarasota, Florida. He played a crucial role in the company’s daily accounting functions and was also responsible for maintaining and improving internal controls. Additionally, he also oversaw the company’s SEC reporting process and communications with internal as well as external stakeholders. During this time frame, Neil was also a director for a public small business investment company.

Neil leads the public company practice for Frazier & Deeter’s Tampa office and plays a significant role in the firm’s growth efforts.
