Experience

Kris Spain contributes to Frazier & Deeter as a Partner in the firm’s Assurance & Advisory Services Practice. Kris has over 40 years of experience providing assurance and business advisory services to clients principally in the manufacturing & distribution, retail and services industries. Within these industries, she has served a broad range of public, closely held and emerging growth companies.  

Before joining the firm, Kris spent over 35 years with EY in its Assurance Practice. She has extensive experience in strategic transactions and complex business, accounting and reporting matters. She uses her experience to provide insights to clients and to help them reach sound conclusions and mitigate risks.  

Throughout her career, Kris has been a leader in initiatives to develop and promote women in public accounting. She is also actively involved in programs and initiatives to mentor and develop women entrepreneurs. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of LaunchPad2X, a woman entrepreneur leadership development program, and is committed to advising younger women entrepreneurs.
