As a Principal in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Practice, Kathleen Alfrey contributes more than 15 years of public accounting experience to her clients. Her industry expertise includes manufacturing & distribution, technology, solar energy and professional service companies, as well as real estate developers and operators and individuals.
Kathleen has worked with a variety of closely held and middle-market companies and individuals, assisting them with federal, state and international tax planning and compliance needs, tax strategy consulting and M&A transactions, as well as assistance with income tax provisions and related reporting requirements. She has also been responsible for discussions and negotiations with the IRS and various state and local agencies regarding individual and business audits, installment plan agreements and various other matters.
Kathleen also has experience with a number of professional and career development initiatives. Kathleen was the leader of the Women’s Initiatives committee at her previous firm. In this role, she focused on planning events and presentations centered around the career growth and development of women and helped establish a new learning and development program. This program was aimed at facilitating and improving the firm’s professional education and training needs at all staff levels.
