Kandace Freeman

Experience

As Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager at Frazier & Deeter, Kandace Freeman is responsible for building DEI programs and initiatives at the firm. Kandace works in partnership with FD’s leadership to support, plan, develop, coordinate and execute strategies and initiatives with the goal of advancing the firm’s diversity causes and results. With over 10 years of experience, she offers expertise in DEI programming, curriculum implementation, human resources, development, leadership and education.  

Before joining the firm, Kandace worked as Program & Curriculum Manager for Inclusive Communities where she was responsible for the development, execution and oversight of the curriculum and programming for all Inclusive Communities youth, business and community programming. Her experience at Inclusive Communities includes working as Program Partner, where she was responsible for facilitating programming and supporting outreach efforts for all programs and special events. Prior to her experience at Inclusive Communities, Kandace worked as STEM Innovation Director at Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands. In this role, she facilitated STEM and education objectives for National Boys & Girls Club members grades K-8. She also supported recruitment, employee hiring, training and development of all full and part-time staff.
