As a Senior Manager in the Tax Practice of Frazier & Deeter, Jason Nelson works with Partnerships, S-Corporations, Corporations, Exempt Organizations and individuals, facilitating tax compliance. He works with many clients requiring multi-state tax returns and has experience with complex partnership allocations and foreign investments.
Jason is an active leader of Frazier & Deeter’s Real Estate Services Group where he focuses on real estate taxation, including management organization and real estate development. He also manages client engagement research, provides consultation on various tax matters, and supervises staff and senior-level work. Jason is experienced with partnerships owned by foreign investors and has dealt with numerous conservation easements.
In addition to being involved in the Real Estate Services Group, Jason specializes in working with tax exempt organizations including many exempt country club (501(c)(7)) engagements. Dealing with UBIT issues as well as cost allocations, these organizations include social clubs, museums, and medical clinics, as well as others.
In addition to his client service responsibilities, he manages compilations and helps train and supervise tax accountants.
