As a Tax Compliance and Controversy Specialist in the Tax Practice of Frazier & Deeter, James Robertson works with high net worth individuals and families in preparation of tax returns, tax planning and facilitating tax compliance. He works with many clients requiring multi-state tax returns and has experience with complex tax issues and tax reduction strategies. He also specializes in tax issue resolution.
James’ career includes industrial engineering and cost accounting experience, manufacturing management experience, profit/loss responsibility and starting his own business prior to moving back into the tax industry. He has over a decade of tax return preparation, review and audit experience including representation of clients at the administration level of the U.S. Tax Court.
James specializes in tax return preparation, review, and planning along with tax problem solving for high net worth clients at Frazier & Deeter. He has experience in the paper converting, flexible packaging, graphic services, financial services and retail tax industries.
