David joined Frazier & Deeter in 2011 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Faucett Taylor & Associates where he had served since 1985. He previously worked at a small firm in Alabama from 1978-1985.
David provides tax planning and compliance services in a variety of industries, with an emphasis on clients in real estate development, retail, business entrepreneurs, professional services, and high net worth individuals. He has deep experience in the special tax issues applicable to partnerships, LLCs, and S Corporations. David also has significant experience in representing businesses and individuals under examination by the IRS. David is able to assist clients in structuring partnership agreements to carry out the economics agreed to by the partners, has counseled clients through many like-kind exchanges, and has assisted clients in understanding and reporting cancellation of indebtedness income.
