Colin Hailey is a Partner in Frazier & Deeter’s UK Tax Practice. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Confluence Tax, a UK tax firm that merged with Frazier & Deeter in 2021. Colin specialises in R&D tax credits, patent box, share incentives, IPO and M&A transactions within the life sciences and technology sectors. He chairs the Finance and Tax Advisory Committee of the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA) and undertakes lobbying work with HM Treasury and HMRC on behalf of these industries. Colin is a regular speaker and contributor on tax issues relevant to the knowledge economy.
Prior to founding Confluence Tax, Colin worked at both Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, leaving the latter as a Partner in 2010 to launch the firm.
