    Experience

    Angie Wellford joined Frazier & Deeter in 2005. Prior to becoming the COO of the Process, Risk & Governance Practice (PRG), Angie served clients as a Senior Manager in the Assurance Practice as well as managed the operations of the Assurance and Tax Practices. Angie moved into the role of COO of Process, Risk & Governance Practice in November 2019. Her duties include resource planning and deployment strategy, financial reporting and forecasting, recruiting and compliance for the Practice across 5 offices.  

    Before joining the firm, Angie worked for two years as an assistant controller at a large real estate investment firm and has over 20 years of experience in accounting. During her time there, she was directly involved in the day-to-day activities of several investment funds, including supervising the preparation of consolidated quarterly reports for investors, calculating returns on investments and assisting in the firm’s external audit. She also spent three years as a Supervising Senior at an internationally recognized accounting firm. While assisting public and privately held companies, she gained valuable financial experience dealing with several real estate and financial institutions.   

    In 2005, Angie participated in an exchange program with PKF Sydney, Australia. While working in Sydney for three months, she supervised audits and gained experience in international accounting standards.
