Experience
As a tax supervisor, Kevin Rose’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of tax consulting and tax planning. He also functions as a taxpayer advocate in the face of IRS, as well as state and local, inquiries and/or audits. Some of his additional responsibilities include structuring and executing multi-state, tax-deferred real estate exchanges, handling international compliance issues, and designing tax strategies to mitigate the tax effects for various taxpayer transactions.

Kevin has extensive experience in the industry areas of real estate, construction, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, technology, as well as tax planning for high net worth individuals. Consequently, Kevin is well-versed in partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual tax issues and strategies. In addition, Kevin routinely provides compliance services, such as retirement, education, and income tax planning, for the firm’s individual clients.

Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter, Kevin worked as an Account Executive at Morgan Stanley. In this position, he assisted high net-worth clients with asset allocation based on financial positions and risk. Additionally, he advised clients on debt management and personal financial planning.

Furthermore, Kevin educates the public about recent tax legislation by speaking to various audiences on a variety of topics ranging from employee benefits to tax breaks for domestic manufacturers. Kevin has also authored several articles including “Guidance from Treasury and IRS Shed Light on Section 199 Deduction”, which was published in the May 2006 edition of The Tax Adviser.
