Chase Gund is a Manager in the Assurance and Advisory Services Practice at Frazier & Deeter. Chase primarily provides assurance services related to financial statement audits and reviews.
Since joining Frazier & Deeter, Chase has worked with a variety of clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of a broad range of industries. He has experience performing audits and other attestation engagements in the following industries: real estate, manufacturing and distribution, technology, nonprofit organizations, construction, and private equity. He also has extensive experience performing assurance procedures related to complex equity transactions, consolidations, acquisitions, internal controls, and technical accounting guidance as well as in providing assurance services to clients with employee benefit plans.
Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter in 2013, Chase served five years as a Supply Officer in the United States Navy, primarily providing budgeting and financial management for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
Chase has a leadership position within the assurance practice’s training development team as well as the orientation process for all new hires into the assurance group. He is also involved with several other strategic initiatives within the firm including updating the firm’s audit methodology and recruiting.
In 2016, Chase participated in an exchange program with our PKF International affiliate in Castle Donington, England. While working in England for two months, he assisted in preparing financial statements, assurance procedures and documentation based on UK GAAP.
