Experience

As a Manager in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Practice, Michelle Karl contributes nearly a decade of experience to her clients. Michelle primarily works with focus groups concentrated on pass-through and high-net-worth tax compliance. She has specific industry expertise in healthcare and entertainment and has worked with various clients in non-standard tax compliance.  

Before joining FD, Michelle served as a Tax Manager at Waitr & Associates where she reviewed various levels of tax returns and compliance requirements, managed full-service tax engagements for over 150 clients, advised on tax planning strategies and oversaw staff training and development. She has additional experience as a Tax Senior at PYA, P.C. and a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte Tax LLP where she prepared and reviewed tax returns, managed client engagements and various other compliance-related projects.
