Experience

As a Partner in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Practice, Kelly Garrison is responsible for the tax compliance of individual returns, projections, trust, gift tax, partnership and S corporation tax returns. She provides specialized tax and accounting services to privately held businesses, physicians, attorneys and corporate executives. Working with individuals and closely held businesses, Kelly focuses attention on planning opportunities to minimize personal, trust and estate tax liabilities. Her specialties also include foreign reporting requirements and inbound /outbound foreign income planning and preparation.

As a leader in the FD Personal Financial Services Group, Kelly consults on sophisticated planning techniques. She has been instrumental in communicating tax planning opportunities relating to new tax laws and regulations. She acts as a liaison between her clients and their wealth management and financial planning teams to support the overall financial objectives of her clients.

Before joining the firm, Kelly worked in the International Assignment Services Division at Deloitte and Touche, LLP. Her primary duties were individual consulting and compliance for expatriates and inpatriates. She also prepared compensation details for SEC clients.

Kelly is a frequent speaker regarding personal financial planning. She has spoken on a variety of topics for groups such as Keller Williams, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council, Marist High School and Emory University.
