As FD’s Director, Strategic Project Development, Katie Abraham designs and implements strategic projects essential to marketing operations and brand awareness. Incorporating FD’s messaging and brand promise, Investing in Relationships to Make a Difference®, she effectively develops external and internal content and manages the production of proposals, RFP responses and presentations for the firm’s US and UK offices. In addition to promoting events surrounding thought leadership and client appreciation, she represents FD at community and industry events and establishes strong business relationships.
Prior to joining the firm, Katie was the Marketing Manager in the Business Development division of a large, heavy industrial contractor. She has over fifteen years of experience in program development, customer experience optimization and event organization, with expertise in communications, content creation and messaging. Katie has worked with clients in a variety of industries nationwide, including construction, engineering, electric utility, OGC, hospitality, technology, healthcare and nonprofit. From 2019 to 2021, she managed FD’s Manufacturing & Distribution industry group.
A native of Atlanta, Katie is an active community volunteer and avid writer.
