As a Principal in the State and Local Tax Services Group, John Corn brings over 20 years of public accounting experience to the firm. He has significant experience with state income/franchise tax and sales and use tax. He specializes in tax credit studies and negotiated incentives.
John is responsible for providing expertise to the Tax Department in areas of state tax audit defense, nexus studies and compliance reviews.
John spent the majority of his career in public accounting at Big 4 accounting firms. Most recently, John held the position of Director of State and Local Taxes at one of the largest accounting firms in Georgia, managing all aspects of state and local tax. He also served clients in the area of manufacturing/distribution, technology, professional services and retail/hospitality industries.
