Senior Manager Jhonny Martinez contributes more than 15 years of experience to the Tax Practice of Frazier & Deeter. With his extensive experience, Jhonny is responsible for tax planning, federal and multi-state tax compliance and international tax planning. He is involved with various industry groups at FD, including financial services, real estate, services and manufacturing, high-net-worth individuals and private equity. Within his private equity specialization, Jhonny works closely with portfolio companies, hedge funds, fund of funds and operating entities; his primary focus includes M & A, structuring and complex partnership allocations.

Prior to joining FD, Jhonny worked as a Manager at EY where he reviewed tax returns for asset management clients such as hedge funds, private equity and fund of funds. In addition to these duties, he reviewed international tax compliance required for various fund allocations. Jhonny also gained expertise as a Manager for Deloitte, Grant Thornton and BlumShapiro where he reviewed tax returns for various industries including asset management, manufacturing, services and high-net-worth individuals.
