    Experience

    As a Principal in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax practice, George Pope offers his clients over 20 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in tax planning and compliance management for individuals, estates, trusts and both public and private foundations. His expertise spans a variety of industries, including real estate, construction, not-for-profit, technology and professional services.   

    George is a member of the firm’s Personal Financial Services Group, where he works closely with high-net-worth individuals and their family groups. Additionally, George has significant experience serving partnerships, S corporations and exempt organizations.  

    Before joining the firm, George held the position of Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte, where he managed client relations in the areas of individual income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance. He also previously practiced law in North Carolina and worked in the Trust department of Bank of America (formerly, NationsBank and NCNB) as a Vice President and Trust Officer. At Bank of America, he served private foundations and advised clients on estate administration and planning.
