Experience

Amber Schrock is the Las Vegas Market Leader and a Principal in Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance (PRG) Practice with over 15 years of gaming industry experience. As an IT and internal audit specialist, her expertise lies in identifying and testing general IT controls (GITC), supporting services related to internal controls for financial reporting and evaluating and concluding on identified deficiencies. Amber’s specialties include IT risks & related controls, risk mitigation, PCAOB Audit Standards, AICPA Statements on Auditing Standards, COSO internal control framework, COBIT 5 and gaming compliance. She provides further value to clients through risk assessments and diligent communication before, during and upon completion of engagements.

Amber currently serves as the immediate-past President of the Las Vegas chapter of the IIA and is active in the Las Vegas chapter of ISACA. Before joining FD, Amber was in a Big Four firm’s Enterprise Risk Services Group. Her client experience includes Boyd Gaming Corporation, Scientific Games, Hard Rock Casino, Affinity Gaming and Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
