Experience

As a Director in Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk and Governance (PRG) Practice, Amanda Burroughs is primarily responsible for internal audit, process optimization, risk, governance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and advisory services. Amanda works with various industries, including real estate, retail and manufacturing & distribution. She has experience serving both large public and private companies in multiple areas of accounting, most recently in the consulting space.

Amanda offers her clients 15 years of experience as an accounting professional focusing in both external and internal audit, financial statement preparation, SEC compliance, and controllership activities.  Prior to joining FD, Amanda worked as a consultant completing accounting close, process optimization projects, and policy implementations for large, public companies.  She has served in various accounting management and internal audit roles for an Atlanta-based Fortune 1000 company and has extensive experience managing SOX and compliance audits.  Amanda began her career at a Big 4 Firm where she provided audit services to both public and non-public companies in various industries.
