Frazier & Deeter Recognized as a Best Accounting Firm for Equity in Leadership and Best Firm for Women

The Accounting MOVE Project Recognizes the Firm for 8th Time

Atlanta, GA – Frazier & Deeter, a nationally ranked public accounting and advisory firm, was named a Best CPA Firm for Equity Leadership, as well as a Best Firm for Women, by the Accounting MOVE Project. Frazier & Deeter is the only firm based in the Southeast to receive this honor eight times.

The Accounting MOVE Project measures and supports the advancement of women in accounting and consulting firms. The MOVE report outlines tactics that women, advocates for women and firm leaders can take to ensure that women CPAs can achieve their aspirations for their careers and drive firm growth in the process.

“In an industry that typically struggles with inclusivity, Frazier & Deeter has made a commitment to creating a culture where everyone feels welcome and supported,” noted Rasheedah Luqman, Manager of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee at Frazier & Deeter. “Since the inception of the DEI Committee, our programming has helped people within the firm better understand issues like gender bias, racial bias and issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.”

Monique Quindsland, Partner champion for Frazier & Deeter’s DEI Committee, further explained, “Frazier & Deeter was ahead of its time in terms of offering flexibility that supported working parents, which helped the firm retain women during its 40-year history. The DEI committee is building on that foundation with formal affinity groups for women and parents, which will help us attract and retain exceptional women as the firm continues to grow.”

“The findings of this year’s report reveal that in spite of overwhelming uncertainty and change in the workforce that collaboration, diverse perspectives and the ability to embrace change has given women leverage in creating new opportunities in a challenging professional landscape,” said Cindy Stanley, Executive Director for the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA), the Association Partner for the Accounting MOVE Project. “Firms realized that by providing the opportunity for women to work in a remote and hybrid work environment that they were able to cultivate a diverse and expanding pool of talented professionals.”

The Accounting MOVE Project Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership list recognizes firms with a percentage of women partners and principals that are well above the industry average.

Frazier & Deeter’s Women’s Business Leadership Initiative supports female executives and business owners. Since its introduction in 2009, the initiative has offered programming for women seeking to launch a business, grow an existing business or enhance their leadership skills. In addition to supporting women business owners, this program also offers women within the firm a unique platform for building a network of business relationships.
