Rising talent in the accounting profession take part in a two day interactive program
Frazier & Deeter announced today the Third Annual Leadership Council will be held on May 15th and 16th held in the firm’s Atlanta office. This program provides 16 rising seniors who are completing accounting degrees with real-life experience in the many areas of public accounting.
“Frazier & Deeter is excited to bring together this outstanding group of accounting students,” said Seth McDaniel, Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter. “We enjoy sharing the professional and cultural aspects of Frazier & Deeter with these talented young leaders.”
The topics of the program include A Day in the Life of a Staff and the structuring of practice areas, with a focus on specialty service lines such as Fraud Investigation, Computer Forensics and Process, Risk & Governance. This program enhances the leadership skills of the students by providing a team-building activity and a learning program to understand behavioral styles.
“The Leadership Council discussion topics were chosen based on input we received from previous program attendees,” noted Frazier & Deeter Recruiter, Neeley Bain. “The students from past events have really enjoyed engaging with Frazier & Deeter’s practice leaders in specialized areas, in addition to the core disciplines of tax and audit, because it gives them a deeper understanding of advisory services.”
Attendees were selected from applicants completing the accounting program at leading universities across the southeast, including University of Georgia, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Auburn University, University of Tennessee, Rhodes University, Kennesaw State University, and Clemson.
