New team members announced in Nashville and Tampa
Frazier & Deeter, one of the top 60 CPA and advisory firms in the country, continues to expand its Process, Risk & Governance (PRG) Practice, with additional team members named in Nashville and Tampa.
Frazier & Deeter’s PRG Practice delivers risk management services including Service Organization Control (SOC) attestation; internal and IT audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and additional advisory services designed to evaluate the reliability and design of a company’s internal policies, processes and procedures.
“Our PRG practice has grown dramatically over the past few years and the additional resources in our Nashville and Tampa markets will help us better serve our national client base,” said Seth McDaniel, Manager Partner of Frazier & Deeter.
“We have seen a substantial increase in demand for SOC 2 attestation services and internal controls assessments. This demand is driven by the renewed focus on cyber security in the wake of large-scale, high-profile data breaches at Anthem, Sony and Target,” said Sabrina Serafin, Partner and National Practice Leader of Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance practice. “Companies of all sizes and complexity have recognized the need to be very thorough in understanding and managing risks associated with data security.”
In the Nashville office, Brandon Sherman, CISA, joins as a Senior Manager in the Process, Risk & Governance (PRG) Practice. Brandon was most recently a Senior Manager in the Enterprise Risk & Advisory Services department at Deloitte & Touche in Memphis and Las Vegas. Richard Lefoldt has joined as a Senior IT Auditor in the firm’s PRG Practice.

In Tampa, Jeff Bauman and Heather Brown, Audit Senior Managers, are leading delivery of PRG services in the state of Florida. Jeff has served a variety of closely held and public companies in a variety of industries including healthcare, technology, insurance, mortgage banking, manufacturing, hospitality and real estate. Heather has 20 years of accounting experience with both public and privately-owned clients, and has previously served clients seeking assistance with internal controls. Both will continue to serve as auditors while expanding their roles to PRG service delivery.
