In a joint announcement today, Frazier & Deeter, LLC, and the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream announced a strategic partnership designed to provide more resources for the region’s women-led business community.

“The mission and vision of the Atlanta Dream extends well beyond the operation of a successful sports franchise,” said Seth McDaniel, Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter.  “The Dream is a vehicle to inspire women to become leaders. The growth in the private business sector today is being powered by a new generation of female frontrunners. As a leading CPA firm in Atlanta and our region, we engage with a substantial base of female business executives on a daily basis, including those in our firm.  We were seeking a strategic partner that shared our desire to promote the goals of the women business community and found an ideal partner with the Atlanta Dream.”

“Our partnership with Frazier & Deeter will provide emerging female business leaders with strong role models and a roadmap to success,” said Dream Owner Kathy Betty. “The reality is that many businesswomen struggle to find mentors to help them understand that there are no limitations to what they can achieve. Through our partnership with Frazier & Deeter, we will bring together leading women from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to mentor tomorrow’s leaders.”

“We are inspired by the vision of Kathy Betty and the mission of the Atlanta Dream,” said Barbara Borczak, Partner in the Atlanta Office of Frazier & Deeter. “As part of our relationship, we will be promoting a series of women-oriented gatherings prior to Dream games where female business leaders will be sharing their individual stories of perseverance and success, followed by our collective support for the wonderful women that compete as WNBA basketball stars.”

“I am excited about the Dream’s new partnership with Frazier & Deeter,” said Dream owner Kathy Betty. “They understand the importance of women’s leadership within the business sector and recognize the unique ability of the Atlanta Dream and the WNBA in engaging young women and motivating our next generation of leaders.”

“We expect to be joined someday by others in the professional community who believe investing in and furthering the interests of women leadership,” said McDaniel. “To have the opportunity to align ourselves with the Atlanta Dream and work shoulder to shoulder with their team is exciting and we look forward to a great partnership and friendship.”
