FD Sponsors Southeast Bio Investor and Partnering Forum

Frazier & Deeter today announced it is a sponsor of the Southeast BIO Investor & Partnering Forum, supporting life science companies across the Southeast region of the United States. The Forum, now in its 16th year, works to advance biopharmaceutical, medical technology, agricultural biotechnology and other life science companies, from ideas at the research stage to early-stage and more mature start-up companies.

Recognized as the Southeast region’s premier life sciences and medical technology investor conference, this event connects emerging companies with potential investors and partners in a forum that provides meaningful networking opportunities.  Southeast BIO’s (SEBIO) past presenting companies have raised more than $2.5 billion collectively in private and public funding since the inaugural conference in 1999.

“SEBIO is very well aligned with our existing activities with entrepreneurs. The Investor & Partnering Forum provides an important platform for regional companies to launch and grow and we are proud to help make that growth happen,” said Bob Woosley, Director of Entrepreneurial Services at Frazier & Deeter.

Additionally, Frazier & Deeter’s sister company, FD Venture Farm, recently announced a strategic relationship with Emory University’s Office of Technology Transfer which specializes in bio science innovation.

“We believe we have a highly innovative and differentiated approach to serving the bio science entrepreneurial ecosystem and we are looking forward to meeting the industry leaders and innovators at SEBIO,” said Woosley.

The 16th Annual Southeast BIO Investor & Partnering Forum will take place November 11-13th, 2014 at the W Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.
