Experience
As a Senior Manager in Frazier & Deeter’s tax department, Dwight Smith brings more than 10 years of accounting and tax experience. Dwight’s primary responsibilities include providing tax consulting and compliance services for REITs and other real estate industry clients, as well as professional service firms. He also manages client engagement research, provides consultation on various tax matters, and supervises staff and senior-level work.

Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter, Dwight spent six years at Arthur Andersen, rising from staff accountant to manager level during his time there. While most of his time was spent working with large international clients in the real estate industry, Dwight also gained experience working with high wealth individuals, non-profits and professional service firms. He also worked as a tax manager for a privately held, billion dollar sales manufacturing company. There, Dwight managed all tax planning and compliance, including, income, sales, property and international taxes.
