Karen Carney is a Senior Manager in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Practice with over 20 years of experience. As a small business and personal tax expert, she is highly skilled in tax planning and projections, financial statement preparation and consulting. Karen has worked extensively with dental and medical offices and other personal service corporations, in addition to S corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals.

Karen began her career in the Internal Audit department of a national bank before serving as a Staff Auditor and Accountant for multiple government agencies in the State of Georgia. Afterward, she took a position as a Senior Associate at an Atlanta-based accounting practice. During this time, Karen also owned and operated her own small business.

Karen’s areas of expertise extend to reporting, data analysis, budgeting, IRS notice resolution and effective technology application. She further excels in the design and implementation of accounting systems and controls. With a strong focus on collaboration and relationship building, Karen is committed to a high level of client satisfaction.
