Jodi Prevost is a member of the assurance and advisory services practice of Frazier & Deeter. Jodi specializes in audits of middle market real estate, not-for-profit entities, private country clubs and professional services firms. Jodi is an expert in timber and timberland audits with clients that include funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Timberland Management Organizations, and operating companies. Jodi works with private companies globally and advises clients on differences between U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards. She also performs SEC compliance audits for Registered Investment Advisors.
Jodi has spoken at Georgia Society of CPAs’ conferences about accounting standards for private companies and, recently, at the World Forestry Center’s Who Will Own the Forest conference about fair value accounting. She works closely with Frazier & Deeter’s audit methodology to ensure quality and consistency of procedures throughout the assurance practice as well as to provide training on technical pronouncements and developments in audit and accounting. Jodi is also a recipient of the Gold Key Award for earning one of the top five CPA exam scores in the State of Georgia
