Experience

As a Tax Compliance & Controversy Specialist at Frazier & Deeter, James Robertson works with high-net-worth individuals and families in the preparation of tax returns, tax planning and facilitating tax compliance. He works with many clients requiring multistate tax returns and has experience with complex tax issues, tax reduction strategies and tax issue resolution.

James’ career experience includes industrial engineering and cost accounting, manufacturing management, profit/loss responsibility and starting his own business prior to moving back into the tax industry. He has over a decade of tax return preparation, review and audit expertise, including representation of clients at the administration level of the US Tax Court.  

James has appeared locally on WSB-TV, WXIA 11 Alive, Peachtree TV and nationally on the Fox News Channel. He has also been featured in articles in the AJC, Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Marietta Daily Journal commenting on current tax-related events.
