D. SHAWN FOWLER, CPA CFE
Partner shawn.fowler@frazierdeeter.com Experience Shawn Fowler is an audit member of Frazier & Deeter, LLC who has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. His concentrations include providing litigation support services to a variety of corporations and serving as an expert witness, business management consulting, auditing closely held companies, and developing financial forecasts, projections, and budgets. Additionally, he provides income tax services to a variety of individuals and corporations. Shawn has earned the designation of certified fraud examiner, CFE, from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The CFE designation is awarded to select professionals responsible for detecting, deterring, and investigating fraud and white collar crime. Shawn has extensive experience in this area including expert testimony, shareholder dispute analysis, lost profits, and fraud analysis. He also provides cash flow analysis, analysis of financial data, and management reports. In addition, Shawn has experience representing clients during IRS examinations. He works with a variety of closely held businesses and industries, such as entertainment, construction, healthcare, real estate, distribution, manufacturing, timberland investing, and retail. He has emerged as an expert in auditing timber funds for clients. He has audited several large funds with assets ranging from $15,000,000 to $400,000,000. He has shared his experience through speaking engagements for multiple
industry and professional organizations on the profitability and maintenance
of business practices including start-ups. He also has spoken on several
occasions on ethics, fraud analysis, and the effective interrogation
of witnesses. |
