Kris Spain Joins F&D as Audit Partner

(Atlanta, Georgia) After 36 years of serving accounting and auditing clients in the middle market, Kris Spain, CPA, joined Frazier & Deeter in the third quarter of 2009 as an Assurance Partner. Spain focuses on companies in the retail, restaurant, distribution, manufacturing and professional service sectors. Within these industries, she has served a broad range of public and privately-held companies.

As a partner in Frazier & Deeter's Assurance Services Department, Kris actively participates in industry associations and networks, including serving on the Financial Reporting Council of the National Retail Federation for over 20 years. As a result, she is very knowledgeable with respect to new and proposed accounting and reporting rules that will impact her clients and helps her clients to anticipate the impact of proposed rules and effectively implement new ones. Kris also uses her extensive experience to help her clients reduce risks, as well as implement best practices.

Throughout her career, Kris has also been a leader in initiatives to develop and promote women in public accounting.

Seth McDaniel Appointed to National Accounting Association Committee

(Atlanta , Georgia – October 26, 2009) Seth McDaniel, CPA has been selected to serve as Vice-Chairman of PKF North American Network's 2010 Strategic Planning Committee.

PKF North American Network is a membership association comprised of 86 independent accounting and consulting firms in North America that are dedicated to serving middle-market businesses and individual clients.

The members of the 2010 Strategic Planning Committee are leaders in their field, with proven track records of providing innovative service and solutions to their clients. Like the other members of the committee, Seth was chosen based on his leadership skills, depth of knowledge and experience.

“As a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, I have the opportunity to work with other leaders in our field to ensure the continued success of PKF North American Network, an association which has provided invaluable resources, relationships, training and strategic alliances for our firms and, in turn, our clients,” said Seth McDaniel.

Seth currently serves as the head of Frazier & Deeter's assurance department, and as of January 1, 2010 will assume the role of Managing Partner for the firm. He has more than 17 years of experience and joined Frazier & Deeter from the PCAOB, where he served as the youngest Associate Director in the organization's history. We are proud to note that we are the only regional CPA firm in the United States with a former Associate Director of the PCAOB as a partner. Seth also recently sat on the AICPA's Center for Public Company Audit Firms' Peer Review Board and was responsible for co-authoring the public accounting profession's new quality control and peer review standards.

Frazier & Deeter Welcomes First Director of Valuation Services

(Atlanta , Georgia - August 24, 2009) Frazier & Deeter is pleased to officially announce that Jerry Bontrager has joined the firm as our first Director of Valuation Services.

Jerry has more than 19 years of experience in the financial industry and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and an Accredited Senior Appraiser in business valuation. He has an extensive background in analyzing public and private entities, and has completed hundreds of valuation engagements.

He provides a number of services to our clients, including: valuations of stock, partnership interests, options, intangible assets, restricted stock, and debt. The valuation analyses that Jerry conducts are used for the following purposes, among others:

• Income, gift and estate taxes
• Reorganizations
• Litigation supprt, including expert testimony
• Strategic planning
• Mergers, acquisitions & divestitures
• Fair value accounting

The 2009 Walk Now for Autism fundraising campaign took place over 5 weeks and culminated in a walk which took place at Atlantic Station on Saturday, May 3 rd . More than 20 Frazier & Deeter and SignatureFD walkers participated and it was announced that more that Atlanta raised more than $400,000 in donations to support autism research and heighten public awareness. We are proud to announce that our own Jeff Peller was the 2009 Top Fundraiser and that the Frazier & Deeter/SignatureFD team raised more than $20,000! Erinn Keserica participated in the1 st Annual 10 week Man & Woman of the Year fundraising competition for the Atlanta Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Each dollar raised counted as one vote and the winners were selected based solely on their fundraising efforts. Winners were announced at the Grand Finale Celebration on June 11 th at the W Hotel in Buckhead. We are proud to announce that through her many efforts, Erinn raised nearly $10,000! All money raised will go toward The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of blood cancer research, education and patient services. Frazier & Deeter Announces the Opening of a Second Office in Alpharetta

(Atlanta , Georgia – March 5, 2009) Frazier & Deeter, LLC, one of Atlanta 's top ten accounting firms, has announced that it will be opening a second office in the Alpharetta/North Fulton area in May 2009. Upon the expansion, Frazier & Deeter will occupy more than 5,000 square feet in Preston Ridge II, in addition to the firm's headquarters in the Bank of America Plaza in Midtown Atlanta, where Frazier & Deeter currently has two floors.

In a time when many accounting firms are downsizing or merging with other companies, Frazier & Deeter is excited to be expanding into the growing Alpharetta marketplace. Some of the primary areas of focus the Firm brings to the area includes real estate, technology and professional service industry expertise. Frazier & Deeter also has significant experience working with high net-worth individuals.

The new office will be led by Roger W. Lusby III. Lusby has been a Partner in the firm since 1985, and primarily works with clients in the individual, estate and corporate areas. He assists clients with tax planning, financial planning, executive compensation and stock option planning, estate and succession planning and international taxation.

When asked about the expansion Lusby said, “This strategic decision to open an Alpharetta office will allow us to better serve some of our existing clients, while greatly increasing our exposure in the Greater North Fulton area. Jeff Seay
Seay joined Frazier & Deeter in 2000. He provides specialized assurance and advisory services in the areas of financial statement audits & reviews, construction contractors, employee benefit plans, non-profit organizations, manufacturing & distribution companies, service companies and hospitality.

Seay also is on the board of directors for the Surety Association of Georgia and an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association. Jeremy Jones
Jones joined Frazier & Deeter in 2001, and has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting.
