CPAs can provide two other levels of service for unaudited financial statements. These two types of engagements are
compilations and reviews.
Our compilation services are useful to small, privately help companies that need help in preparing their financial statements. These services may be rendered on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. This type of service is prepared based on information provided by the entity's management. Essentially, that data is put into proper financial statement format. However, if a business needs to provide differing degrees of assurance to outside groups that its financial statements are reliable, it may be necessary to perform a review or audit.
