INSIDE Public Accounting Names Frazier & Deeter: The Nation’s Best of the Best Accounting Firm
Carmel, Ind. (September 1, 2011) - INSIDE Public Accounting’s annual Best of the Best recognition honors 25 firms for their wise management and superior operational performance on more than 50 criteria. Another 25 firms are recognized as Best of the Best Honorable Mentions. More than 400 firms participated in this year’s 21st annual IPA Annual Survey and Analysis of Firms.
In business, results matter. For 18 years, IPA has named the Best of the Best firms for those firms who have turned in exceptional performance, regardless of outside factors. In any economy, up or down, clues for what to do, where to focus and how to practice can be found in the IPA Best of the Best.
The IPA 2011 Best of the Best firms stand out as well-managed and well-executed examples of how to succeed regardless of what the economic environment throws their way. Size wasn’t a factor "the largest firm to make the cut is $71.4 million and the smallest, at $7.5 million. The Best of the Best Honorable Mentions also have a wide variety of firms sizes, two firms are over $200 million and six firms under $10 million. The firms identified as Best of the Best may change from year to year, but the building blocks of what makes them tick remain the bedrock of success for all these firms, past, present and future.
“We are proud of the recognition for being one of the Nation’s Best of the Best Accounting Firms by INSIDE Public Accounting” said Seth McDaniel, Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter. “This is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of the Frazier & Deeter partners and associates.”
Despite the economy, these firms turned in solid results in revenue growth of 4.0% and income growth of 8.7% when their peers struggled to stay flat.
“Best of the Best firms represent the top 25 accounting firms in the nation. Each firm demonstrates the right combination of vision, planning and execution to deliver superior performance,” says Michael Platt, principal of the Platt Group and publisher of IPA. “Firms that earn this designation represent the best of what the accounting profession has to offer,” Platt says.
“The success of these firms is a tribute to their leadership. Their performance defies economic trends by recognizing the long-term goals that are needed in order to sustain growth through both prosperous times and down times,” says Kelly Platt, managing editor, and publisher of IPA. “We salute all of these firms and recognize their overall management strategies as models that the profession can be quite proud of,” Platt concludes.
IPA also ranks the IPA 100, the largest accounting firms in the nation, along with the Beyond the IPA 100, those firms ranking No.101-200. To view the complete IPA 100 and Beyond the IPA 100, go to:
