Sean Lager is a member of the assurance and advisory services practice of Frazier & Deeter and is the lead partner of Frazier & Deeter’s International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Group. As an assurance partner, Sean brings more than 13 years of experience to the growth and development of the assurance and advisory practice of Frazier & Deeter.

Sean provides assurance and advisory services to large and middle market companies.  His financial reporting experience includes global and domestic companies reporting under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles as well as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

He has significant experience in real estate, service organizations, power and energy, hospitality, and manufacturing & distribution.  In addition to assurance services, Sean provides a variety of accounting consultative services ranging from companies adopting IFRS, USGAAP to IFRS conversions and business combination accounting. 

Sean has been published in well known trade magazines and domestic and global accounting publications including the Journal of Accountancy, Chartered Accountants Magazine in Canada, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. In addition, Sean has delivered many presentations and training to organizations around the globe on reporting under IFRS, USGAAP, IFRS for SMEs and the global convergence of financial reporting.  Sean was recently appointed to the AICPA committee to establish training and IFRS certification and was featured in the AICPA’s training video “Are you Ready for IFRS: Moving Beyond the Basics”.
