Shawn Fowler is an audit member of Frazier & Deeter, LLC who has more than 23 years of experience in public accounting.  He has emerged as a nationally recognized expert in the timber industry.  He has audited several large timber funds and a Timber REIT with assets ranging from $15,000,000 to $400,000,000.  He also provides consulting and tax advice to timber focused clients on a variety of issues.

Shawn has also earned the designation of certified fraud examiner, CFE, from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.  The CFE designation is awarded to select professionals responsible for detecting, deterring, and investigating fraud and white collar crime.  Shawn has extensive experience in this area including expert testimony, shareholder dispute analysis, lost profits, and fraud analysis.

He also provides cash flow analysis, analysis of financial data, and management reports.  In addition, Shawn has experience representing clients during IRS examinations.  

He has shared his experience through speaking engagements for multiple industry and professional organizations.
