As a Partner, Andy Burnett provides tax, accounting, and personal wealth management services to privately held businesses and high net-worth entrepreneurs and executives. He is also responsible for streamlining tax methodologies and processes, and advancing the technological capabilities of the department.

Andy specializes in tax consulting for individuals and closely-held businesses. He has more than 15 years of experience in coordinating and analyzing tax information; providing tax planning services to minimize corporate and personal income tax liability; and offering broad-based tax, transactional and consulting services.

An area of emphasis for Andy includes working with family and multiple generation entities and trusts. He has also assisted individuals of high net-worth with maximizing charitable contributions, and protecting personal assets. In this capacity, he has also consulted with clients on estate and succession planning issues, and transactional activities such as mergers and acquisitions, entity selection, transacting real estate deals, wealth transfer, and insurance funding and placement.

As a juris doctorate, Andy has a deep understanding of the legal environment. This experience enables him to serve as a facilitator of transactional and business structuring matters, in addition to assisting clients with the preparation of documents, including wills and power of attorneys.

Prior to joining the firm, Andy was a tax manager with an international accounting firm.
