Jerry Bontrager is Frazier & Deeter’s Director of Valuation Services. He has more than 21 years of experience in the financial industry with an extensive background in analyzing public and private entities. In that time, he has completed hundreds of valuation engagements. These engagements have included business and stock valuations, option valuations, litigation support analyses, intangible asset appraisals, restricted stock valuations, debt securities valuations, merger and acquisition analyses, estate tax and gift planning valuations, and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) appraisals.
Jerry has performed business valuations for companies in various industries, including: banking and finance, beverage bottling and distribution, chemical and mineral production, construction, consulting, forest product retailing and wholesaling, furniture manufacturing and distribution, health care, hospitality and entertainment, lodging, media broadcasting, metal fabrication, paper distribution, property management, publishing, retailing, transportation, wholesale distribution, and more.

Prior to joining Frazier & Deeter, Jerry was a principle in a local firm engaged in the valuation of business entities and interests, intangible assets, stock options and warrants, debt securities, and restricted stock. He has also held positions as a Senior Manager of Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services for a regional CPA firm, Manager of Valuation Services in the Atlanta office of a national CPA firm, and Portfolio Manager in the Closely Held Business Unit of a national bank holding company.
